Azerbaijan 2026: JIVA with ‘Just Go’

One of the later releases of the year as usual, Azerbaijan are here with JIVA:

Well, lads aren't trying so nor shall I. This is boring and 20 years out of date. I don't know JIVA as an artist and I'm not inclined to go looking based off this - maybe she deserves better, maybe not, but I find it hard to believe this was the best entry submitted. At least try running the AI a couple of times? Allegedly. 

Fun fact, Azerbaijan are averaging 5 Televote points per appearance (Counting both the semi and final in ‘22) in the last 4 years. I don’t see that rolling average improving either.

Semi 2 has a lot of fair to good jury songs too and I don't believe their return helps this much. The mandated two under 25 jurors weren't even born when this might have been passable for example and this being a ballad is so far the only extremely weak argument I've seen.

Double 0 in the semi more likely than qualification.
