2026 Odds Review #10: 22/03

It would have been cleaner for this update to have come out last week close after our final songs were revealed and me to skip this week but whatever. What’s done is done and we have our full 2026 cohort and none of the final songs disrupted things much with Czechia the only exception entering the low teens for a day or two around the release of ‘Crossroads’ before rebounding back to 90 or so. Finland remain favourites and have submitted a request for Linda to play the violin live. It’s a request I wouldn’t expect to see accepted and nor should it due to opening up a massive can of worms and a floodgate of further requests from other countries. A denial won’t tell us much, an acceptance might be indicative…

The rest of the chasers are fairly static, Australia had drifted out to 25~ before returning back down and put in an expected strong showing at the Nordic pre party last night. Sweden and Israel have swapped places in the odds and Malta continues to be this years yo-yo, drfiting before being snapped up and pushed back down. Overall there’s not a huge amount of discussion as usual at this stage as we wait for the semi final running orders and the ongoing pre-parties.

All the reviews are finally finished here and in the next week I’ll be moving on for some further thoughts on how things are looking. Really not looking forward to having to get off the fence some more than just piling 8 entries into 3rd-5th…
